SAManage REST API

The SAManage RESTful API enables customers to create interfaces between virtually any on-premise application and our own service. All SAManage data – including details about computers and other assets, as well as inventory, contracts, risks, and help desk tickets – then becomes easily accessible by other systems within the corporate infrastructure. This type of bi-directional communication facilitates more efficient execution of cross-application business processes.

Network Monitoring Systems

SAManage customers can seamlessly link their network monitoring systems to their IT service desk, creating a fully-integrated, closed-loop network monitoring and management environment. Detected network events will automatically be captured within SAManage as incidents, so support staff can escalate them as needed, track handling from start-to-finish, close them when the event is resolved, and include the solution in the knowledge base. Companies will have a full audit trail of those network events that required assistance from a support technician, and can more precisely assess the impact those events had on related assets.

On-Premise Discovery Solutions

Customers who already have an on-premise discovery system deployed – such as Microsoft SMS, Altiris, Novel Zenworks, or Centennial – can unify those solutions with the SAManage environment. Information from the on-premise discovery tool will be dynamically captured, then uploaded directly into the SAManage platform. Users will have a simple, intuitive way to continue to derive value from their existing solutions, while reaping the many extended benefits that SAManage delivers.
