Mostly for peripherals like printers and monitors, but also would be nice for scanners, external hard drives, webcams, etc. I want to be able to click on a computer in inventory and see a list of "other assets" tied to it. I have established a workaround for now by putting the computer's asset number in the notes field of the associated "other asset" but this is kludgy.
Asset records (both the main and "other") should be one of those universally linkable record types, so incidents, problems, other assets, contracts, solutions and user records can all have assets linked to them.

Would be good if you can list all assets (computers and other assets) from 1 site, department, specific Tag etc. E.g. 1 report listing all assets and other assets from 1 site, … in order to give a comprehensive overview of what is at that site, department etc.
A useful feature would be to have ‘mass update’ for that report, so that you could update all or selected assets from that list in an easy way.
For example: you have a special kit with computer, couple of screens, scanner, external hd etc. When you move this kit, update the site.
SAManage detects printers, monitors and some other peripherals. It would be great if you can (optionally) add them to other assets. This allows to add information as is currently possible in other assets. The link between asset and detected other asset should automatically be created.
