SAManage IT Asset Management for Salesforce requires Salesforce Enterprise or Unlimited editions.

The reason is due to the usage of custom salesforce Record Types which are only available with Enterprise or Unlimited editions.

If you try to install the SAManage IT Asset Management for Salesforce into an OrgID with a different edition,

an error message will alert you that you are missing a feature in Salesforce.

SAManage is designed to keep track of assets, the assets can be organized by a department, site, or multiple sites (= multiple companies).

In addition, some of our service providers partners can have access to multiple accounts in SAManage to serve their customers.
